I Leave tomorrow (Sunday) to go to LA (not for pleasure unfortunately), so I thought I would pay tribute to the style of the Air Hostess, Flight Attendant or Stewardess Style through the years.

My mom was a United Stewardess from 1966-2001 so I have always been inspired by the Airline Uniform. I especially loved the Style of Braniff whose uniforms were designed by Pucci and National Airlines. I loved my National Airlines Fly Me Tshirt.

This Saturday Morning I'm watching the Kell on Earth Episode 3:

Where Nicolas Petrou stiffs Kelly Cutrone’s People’s Revolution

If you have not seen this episode...In a Nutshell...

Designer Nicolas Petrou stiffs People’s Revolution for their work promoting him. Even though some of the leading fashion and men’s wear publications were there, he was probably just bitter over the poor reception of his work. Kelly Cutrone threatened to sue him for the money owed over the phone, but decided to just eat the money and talk about about how he steal money from publicists on television and with her publicist friends.

Although Nicolas Petrou managed to steal services from People’s Revolution, he still benefits from the work they did for him, displaying the images taken from this event on his website and proclaiming the list of publications who reviewed him on his About page, which is press that People’s Revolution helped score.

Would you TELL The world like Kell Did??

I thought I was going into business with someone who turned on me and STOLE a $15,000 deposit for a Retail location in the Malibu Country Mart, $4000 Cash, A list of supplies... etc...etc... Then Opened the store in a new name... Using the Chandeliers, Paint, Picture Frames that are being used for Jewelry Cases (which She STOLE that idea from the Varvatos store in the same Country Mart Location) .

I PAID for all of this with the small inheritance I got from my Hard Working Class Grandmother after her death.

(She posts pictures on her blog with these chandeliers)

She trying to promote that store as hers. Makes no attempt to pay me back. Has a list of vendors (besides me) she has stiffed.

She has a blog and some supporters who are being, in lack of a better term, FOOLED by this thief.

I feel like I should not be quiet. People need to know that a Lying UGLY Thief is parading around our World of Style.

OK.. I know I'm obsessed with California. But tis post is not about Cali (well sort of :)) its about what I found and never leave home (on any vacation) without.

My favorite beachside hotel is the Malibu Beach Inn.

Condé Nast is asking employees to rat out fellow coworkers using a new fraud hotline.

The memo from Chief Financial Officer John Bellando, revealed the company is setting up its first ever anti-fraud system so employees can turn in aka RAT out crooked co-workers--whether they are hacking into computer systems, not declaring vacation days or just scoring a big unauthorized discount.

The Fraud Reporting Hotline will try to stop "release of proprietary information, accounting/audit irregularities, falsification of company records, theft of goods/services/cash," and even "unauthorized discounts/payoffs."

"Fraud is detremintal to the company--and ultimately to each one of us," said Bellando's memo.

Aren't they worried that by protecting the culture, they're ruining it?

Working there is getting so ugly (in ways other than physical), soon only ugly people will want to work there.

I bought these two pieces at a boutique in Los Angeles. Made by a really cool ARTIST called Urban Hardwear.

I bought 3 of these really cute bracelets; one for me and one for each of my daughters.

A friend bought three of these dog tags; Journey, Passion & Dream (for $35 each). They are so cute. They have inspirational messages with a leather dog tag on the back.

These beautiful pieces are available on Urbanhardwear. She really deserves the support of those who appreciates her craft. Each piece is made with love and integrity.

This Artist is NOT a Con.

Just a sweet, trusting young lady who believed in the same individual I did. She left thousands of dollars of hard worked hand made merchandise in a shop and trusted she would be paid when items were sold. Merchandise was sold to me, my friend and a FedEx Driver (and a list of more) but this talented artisan was NEVER paid! She has a contract (great) but the con doesn't have the guts to take responsibility to people she cons and continues to con ... Just bullys and manipulates the system.

So my advice .... If you want to sell your products to any store, boutique, etc... Get Paid UPFRONT or GET REFERENCES and References for the References.

I can be a reference. I have a list of over 2 DOZEN wonderful vendors/people who have not been paid, and yet there merchandise was sold.

Be cautious on who you support... You may be supporting A Con right now.

I am so inspired by the weekly posting by Trust Your Style that I want to give my professional input. I am not a Harvard MBA but, I do have a Bachelors Degree in International Finance, experience in the Fashion and Beauty Industry (I won BEST overall product at the Extracts NYC), Working in my Familys Businesses that are still in existence since 1954, Running a Web Business and Finally Being Conned by a Master.

Well, I now have an Honorary Masters Degree in recognizing those who believe that stealing from people is an Art.
